I've been looking for a rayon batik with a deep, earthy tone for a dress, and this walnut shade drapes beautifully without feeling stiff. The fabric has a subtle, irregular texture from the batik process that adds character to simple patterns.

The walnut color is much richer in person, and the batik texture adds such nice depth to my quilt blocks. It pressed flat easily with no shifting, which made piecing a breeze.

This fabric drapes like a dream for a summer blouse—the rayon batik feel is buttery soft, and the hand-dyed patterns give it that one-of-a-kind artisan look. I’ve already washed it twice and the color hasn’t faded a bit.
