The hand-dyed finish gives it that soft, suede-like feel without being heavy at all. I used it for a throw pillow and the rich cherrywood color really pops against my neutral couch.

The mottled cherrywood tones shift beautifully when you move the fabric, and the hand-dyed surface really mimics suede without the weight. I've already washed a swatch twice and the color held up perfectly.

The hand-dyed suede effect is so convincing that I keep touching it to double-check it’s cotton—the depth of the cherrywood tone shifts beautifully depending on the light. Stitching it into a quilt top was a dream, and the richness it added made everything else in the room look flat.
