The gradient of colors in this yardage is absolutely stunning—the way the iron ore shifts into slate is more dramatic than the product photo showed. I’ve already started cutting into it for a landscape quilt and the hand feels substantial without being stiff.

I was a little worried the gradient would be too subtle, but the shifts from deep slate to that rich iron ore are actually really pronounced. It’s going to make a stunning ombre quilt border.
