This flannel is incredibly soft right out of the package, and the subtle tan plaid has a beautiful, muted warmth that's perfect for a quilt backing. The yardage was cut generously, with no surprises when I laid it out to match the pattern.

The plaid pattern is perfectly scaled for my quilt blocks, and the fabric has a nice weight without being too heavy. Even after a pre-wash, the colors stayed vibrant and the hand-feel remained soft.

The yardage arrived neatly folded with no wrinkles or frayed edges, and the plaid pattern is perfectly aligned along the selvage. The weave feels substantial yet soft enough to drape nicely for a shirt or throw. I've already washed a swatch and the colors stayed true with minimal shrinkage.
