Luxe Cuddle® Milan - Dolce - Nutmeg - Yardage

I was surprised by how soft this fabric feels against the skin, perfect for a baby blanket I'm working on. The nutmeg color is richer in person, and the stretch makes it easy to work with on my sewing machine.

The stretch factor is what sold me — it moves with you instead of fighting you, and the nap is so dense and plush that my blanket feels twice as heavy as it is. I used it for a throw and the edges didn't curl at all during cutting, which never happens with my old minky.

I was a bit skeptical about a stretchy fabric working for a quilt, but this minky is incredibly soft and the stretch is subtle enough that my binding laid flat with no puckers. It feels even more plush than I hoped for a throw blanket.
