Island Batik Ogee Petal 陽光布料

The hand of this batik is so soft and buttery, it almost feels like silk. The dandelion print in the sunshine yellow is crisp and vibrant, perfect for a spring quilt.

I love how the deep saffron yellow in this fabric doesn't bleed when I prewashed it, which made my quilt blocks come out crisp. The hand feels substantial without being too heavy.

The colors in this fabric are so vibrant and the batik technique gives it a lovely, soft hand. I used it for a quilt backing and it washed up beautifully with no fading at all.
