The washed-out look is exactly what my quilt needed to tone down those busy prints, and the hand feels substantial without being stiff. Cuts square and presses flat, which is always my biggest gripe with yardage.

Finally got this to finish a quilt top I’d set aside, and the subtle texture blended perfectly with my brighter prints without overpowering them. The fabric has a soft, well-woven hand that pressed beautifully with just a little steam.

This grunge khaki has exactly the washed-out, muted look I was after for a background fabric. It blended beautifully with my brighter prints without stealing the show, and the hand is soft yet sturdy enough for a quilt.
