The hand-dyeing gives each yard a subtle variation that makes it feel artisan rather than mass-produced, and the fabric's weight is perfect for quilting without being stiff. I already cut into it for a border and the edges pressed so cleanly.

The colors are so much softer and prettier in person than on my monitor. The hand-dyed feel is surprisingly smooth for batik fabric. I’m already planning a second project with it.
