Expressions Batiks Toes in the Sand 嬰兒藍

The hand-dyed texture on this baby blue batik is so rich and dimensional—it's even prettier than the online swatch. I'm already planning a second project with it.

The color payoff is gorgeous in person—that baby blue has a soft, hand-dyed mottling that reads almost like watercolor. It's also surprisingly smooth and easy to work with for a batik, no stiff or crunchy feel at all. I already ordered more to back a quilt with it.

The hand-dyed blue has so much depth and variation, it makes my quilt top look like a custom piece. It’s soft but has a nice body that holds its shape when cutting, and it pressed flat with no shifting at all.
