Expressions 蠟染 Sassy and Tweet 木瓜

The colors in this papaya print are so much richer in person than on screen, and the fabric has that wonderful, slightly crinkled hand feel that batik lovers know. I’m already planning a second yardage order to get enough for a throw pillow set.

The batik patterns have that hand-stamped look I was hoping for, and the colors are rich enough to pop in a quilt without feeling busy. Cut into fat quarters without fraying much, which made piecing a breeze.

This fabric is lightweight enough for a flowy summer blouse but still holds up well to frequent washing. The papaya colorway has beautiful variation that adds depth to any quilt block.
