Dry Brush - Dark Brown #292 - Yardage

The dry brush effect on this brown fabric is subtle but adds just enough texture to keep it from looking flat. I bought it for a quilt backing and the weight feels substantial without being stiff.

The brushstroke pattern has a nice hand-drawn feel that adds texture without being overwhelming. I’ve already used it for a quilt backing and the dark brown coordinates perfectly with other prints. No complaints at all.

The brown tones are softer in person than I expected, which makes the varied brushstroke pattern feel more subtle and elegant. I’m using it for a light upholstery project and the fabric has a nice, sturdy hand without being stiff.
