My kid saw the finished lion and immediately claimed it as his bedtime guardian—mission accomplished on the "scary" front. The pattern’s directions for the mane were super clear, even for a beginner like me, and the 13-inch size feels just right for little arms.

The finished lion is exactly 13 inches tall like it says, and my daughter loves that his mane is so soft. He turned out perfectly cuddly after I followed the pattern, and now he sleeps in her bed every night to scare away monsters.

I used a soft fleece fabric and the finished lion is so huggable, perfect for keeping by my toddler's bed. The pattern instructions were clear and the 13-inch size turned out just right for little arms.
