I was a little worried the tan would look washed out, but against the creamy background the little dashes really pop nicely. The hand of the fabric is that classic Moda softness that just feels so good to quilt with.

The tiny dot pattern is just enough to add texture without fighting my piecing, and the tan reads beautifully as a neutral across the whole quilt top. Cutting into it, the fabric held a crisp crease and didn't fray at the edges, which made chain piecing a breeze.

I needed a neutral background for a quilt, and the small dot pattern gives it just enough interest without being busy. The hand of this cotton is crisp and perfect for piecing.
