Banyan Shadows 柑橘色 碼

The blender pattern on this batik is subtle enough to mix with busier prints, and the fabric feels wonderfully soft to the touch. It pressed out really nicely for my piecing.

I was pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the orange tones turned out after the first wash—no bleeding at all. The batik texture adds just the right amount of depth without overpowering a quilt block.

The blender design worked perfectly as a filler for the quilt blocks I was piecing, and the batik texture took the dye evenly without any surprises. It’s got a nice hand to it, not too stiff, which made cutting and sewing a breeze.
