The sheen on this burgundy spool is unreal—even in low light it catches that high gloss from the mercerized finish. Stitches glide smoothly without fraying, and the color is rich and consistent across the entire 1422 yards.

I’ve been using this thread for quilting, and the 1422-yard spool is lasting much longer than I expected. The mercerized finish gives it a noticeable sheen that really makes my stitches pop against the fabric.

I was hoping for a slightly deeper red, but the 1103 Burgundy is still a rich color that works well for quilting. The 1422 yard spool is generous and the thread glides through my machine with minimal lint.
