The eagle and scroll motifs are surprisingly crisp for a print this scale, and the beige ground keeps the patriotic feel from shouting. It held up beautifully through prewashing, no fading or fraying on the edges. I’m already planning a second order for a border.

I’m using this yardage for a quilt backing, and the eagle motifs really pop against the beige background. The fabric has a nice, smooth hand for piecing and presses well.

The vintage Jacobean florals are absolutely stunning in person—the beige ground makes the patriotic motifs feel elegant instead of kitschy. I’ve already cut into the yardage for a quilt backing and the print repeat is generous enough to work with.
