The hand-dyed finish gives this cotton an almost suede-like feel that’s incredibly soft to the touch. It sewed up beautifully on my machine with no fraying, and the lilac color is rich without being overpowering. I’m already planning my next project with it.

The hand-dyed finish really does mimic suede—soft to the touch but with that cotton weave structure. This lilac shade has so much depth that even a simple tote bag looks luxurious. I'm already planning another yard.

I bought two yards for a quilt backing and the suede-like finish makes it feel way more expensive than a plain cotton. It's a bit stiff straight off the bolt, but a quick wash softened it right up.
