I was worried it might feel stiff, but the hand-dyed suede texture is surprisingly soft and gives my quilt a rich, velvety depth. The deep purple color really pops against lighter cottons in my stash.

I was impressed by how soft this cotton fabric is despite the suede texture. The purple shade is deep and even throughout, perfect for my quilt backing.

The hand-dyed color on this purple is so rich, and it really does have that soft suede look even though it's 100% cotton. I used it for a small throw pillow and the depth of the color makes it look way more expensive than it was.
