The hand-dyed finish really does mimic suede—it's soft to the touch but holds its shape beautifully when I'm cutting pieces for quilting. The blackberry shade shifts in the light, which adds a surprising amount of depth to my project.

The blackberry color is deep and rich, and the suede-like texture from the hand-dyeing gives my throw pillows a really expensive look. It's 100% cotton so it pressed beautifully with an iron on low. Already ordered another yard for a second project.

Cutting into this fabric, I was struck by how beautifully the cherrywood color catches the light. It definitely has that suede-like depth without being too heavy.
