Category: Patterns

Description: Sparkles is a shy little Seahorse who is spends the day playing hide & seek in the sea grass. She has lots of little bits so I wouldn’t recommend this pattern for beginners. Have fun embellishing your Seahorse with lace, beads, ric rac, bobbles, sequins or even rhinestones!

Zoe ★★★★★

The little seahorse's shy expression is captured beautifully in the design. I found the instructions for the sea grass pieces clear, but definitely not a pattern for a quick, simple project. Very happy with how she turned out.

Scarlett ★★★★★

The little seahorse’s hiding spots in the sea grass are so cleverly charted, and even though she’s got tons of tiny pieces, each one is clearly marked so I never felt lost. It took me a few evenings to finish her, but the sparkle details really pop once you get the hang of the fiddly bits.

Zoe ★★★★☆

The seahorse design is adorable and the little details are fun to stitch, but it’s definitely not for a beginner—those tiny bits take patience. I’ve been sewing for a while and still found a couple spots tricky.
