The smooth surface is exactly what I needed for baby blankets—it glides under the sewing machine without snagging. I've washed it twice already and it still looks brand new, no fraying or matting at all.

I was worried about this fabric pilling after multiple washes, but the ultra-soft surface still looks brand new, and the durability is a huge plus. It made my sewing project look really polished.

Bought this yardage for a baby blanket project and was blown away by how durable it feels despite the plushness. It sewed up without fraying or stretching out of shape, which is rare for minky. The smooth surface stayed pristine after a few washes, so I'm already planning another order.
