The smooth surface is almost impossibly plush, and it held up perfectly after I washed it twice before starting my project. Cutting into it was a dream, no fraying or shifting like cheaper minky fabrics.

I was a little worried about durability with such a soft fabric, but after sewing and washing a test piece it held up perfectly without any pilling or fraying. The ultra-soft surface is genuinely lovely for a baby blanket.
