The muted, dusty tones in this yardage are perfect for toning down busier prints in my stash. I’ve already used a half-yard as a soft backdrop for some floral blocks, and the fabric has a nice, pliable hand that didn’t fray too badly while sewing.

The mottled texture is just what I needed to tone down a busy quilt top, and the washed-out look blends with everything I've paired it with so far. It's got a nice hand, not too stiff, and the color depth shifts slightly depending on the light which keeps things interesting.
