Bridgeport Tumbling Squares Black Fabric

The floral motifs are so finely printed, they look almost painted on—the soft, refined colors blend beautifully with my other quilting cottons. This yardage pressed out perfectly flat and held its shape through every seam, which made piecing a real joy.

The black tumbling squares read as a subtle geometric texture from across the room, but up close the weave detail is really lovely. I've already cut into it for a quilt backing and the fabric held a crisp crease without fraying at the edges.

The florals in this collection are so elegant and the black fabric has a really nice, soft hand for quilting. Cut into it for a new quilt project and the weave feels sturdy without being stiff.
