1130 Violet Cherrywood Fabric By The Yard

The 100% cotton hand-dye gives this fabric a subtle depth that shifts in the light, and it's surprisingly soft against the skin. I’m using it for a throw pillow and the way it drapes is just beautiful.

Finally the deep violet is more complex in person than on screen—the uneven dyeing gives it a subtle suede texture that catches the light beautifully. I’m planning a quilted jacket and the hand-feel is soft but substantial enough to hold its shape.

The hand-dyed suede look on this cotton is unreal, it drapes way heavier than I expected for yardage. I used two yards for a quilted jacket and the color shifts just enough in different light to keep it interesting. Zero fraying when I cut it, which never happens with fabrics this textured.
