1070 Blue-Violet Cherrywood Fabric By The Yard

The hand-dyed suede look gives this fabric such an authentic, rich texture that feels more like soft leather than cotton. I’m already planning to use it for a quilt backing, and the deep blue-violet shade really makes the piece pop.

The blue-violet shade is deeper in person than on my screen, and the suede-like texture gives my quilt top a richness plain cotton just can't match. It sewed up beautifully with almost no fraying at the cut edges.

The hand-dyed cotton really does read like suede in person, that soft brushed nap makes it feel way richer than plain quilting cotton. I used it for a throw pillow and the blue-violet shifts a little in different light, which I wasn't expecting. Yardage came cut clean and square too.
