Stonehenge Gradations II Slate Graphite Fabric

The color depth in this fabric is unreal—the slate tones shift from dark charcoal to soft misty gray depending on the light, which makes my quilt blocks feel almost dimensional. Cut into it was a breeze, no fraying or shifting, and it pressed flat with just a quick steam.

I used this for a landscape quilt and the way the gray gradually shifts from light to dark is perfect for creating depth. It cuts cleanly without fraying, which saved me a lot of time.

The color transitions in this gradation are so smooth it feels like the landscape itself, and the fabric’s hand is sturdy without being stiff. I’m already planning a quilt around the slate tones—it drapes beautifully and presses like a dream.
