Bella Solids Butterscotch Stof

This yellow is exactly the warm, buttery shade I needed for a baby quilt—it reads more golden in person, which I love. The cotton is crisp but not stiff, and it pressed flat with no wrinkles on the first iron.

The hand on this fabric is genuinely soft—it feels more like a luxury cotton than your average quilting stash. That butterscotch yellow is such a warm, sunny tone; it pairs beautifully with neutral backgrounds for a baby quilt. I’ve already pressed it once and it held its shape perfectly.

Cut two fat quarters for a baby quilt and the weave is so tight it barely frayed while I was sewing. The color is a warm, buttery yellow that reads more rich than pastel in person, and the hand feels soft enough to use for backing too.
