I grabbed a couple yards for a quilt backing, and the slightly faded grey is exactly what I needed to tone down brighter prints. The fabric has that soft, worn-in feel right out of the package without being too thin.

The washed-out texture gives these yardage pieces a soft, lived-in feel that blends beautifully with my brighter prints. I grabbed several to test against my stash and they coordinate without overpowering anything.

Cut a few test squares and was impressed how the grey held up to my iron without any scorch marks or sticking. The subtle grunge texture gives my quilt backing a nice matte finish that doesn't outshine the main fabrics.
