I’ve been using this Grunge Basics dark jade as a blender for a bright floral quilt, and the subtle mottling keeps it from feeling flat. The hand is nice and soft, not stiff like some yardage I’ve tried.

The washed-out texture on this dark jade is exactly what I hoped for, it blends so seamlessly with busier prints without disappearing. Cut a few fat quarters for a scrappy quilt, and the color held its depth even in low light.

I used this dark jade as a background for some floral prints and the subtle grunge texture keeps the quilt from looking flat. The yardage was cut true and the hand feels like quality cotton.
