My purse patterns always call for this kind of stabilizer and this one cuts cleanly without shifting, plus it keeps its shape after lots of use. The 58" width gave me plenty for a whole batch of totes.

This foam is just the right balance of firmness and flexibility for the tote bag I’m making. It cuts cleanly without fraying and the white color won’t show through my light fabric. Exactly what I needed.

Finally, a stabilizer that holds its shape without turning my bag into a brick—it’s genuinely lightweight yet firm. Cut it easily with scissors and it sewed right through my machine, no shifting. My tote stands up on its own now, which is exactly what I wanted.
