The fabric's weight is perfect for quilting, and the tie-dye colors are even more vibrant in person. I'm already planning a child's quilt with the hot air balloons as the centerpiece.

The hot air balloons and map motifs are so crisp against the tie dye background, it’s like a little adventure story folded into the fabric. I’ve already got a quilt top sketched out in my head and the yardage feels sturdy enough for the job. This one’s going to be fun to sew with.

I was a bit worried the tie dye would be too loud, but the hot air balloon colors blend beautifully with the map motifs. It’s going to make a fantastic quilt backing for my travel-themed project.
