The geometric pattern on this smoke batik is incredibly crisp against the charcoal background, and the fabric has that soft, almost silky hand that works beautifully for a quilt back. I already have a vision for how the blue accents will pop against the grays in my next project.

I needed a charcoal geometric with some depth for a quilt border, and the subtle box print and smoke-gray background worked perfectly. It’s pre-washed nicely and didn’t bleed at all.

The hand-dyed batik texture gives this yardage a soft, subtle depth that photos don't fully capture. I'm already planning a second project with the charcoal and blue tones.
