The color is exactly like the deep maroon in the photos, and the batik print has a nice subtle texture that makes piecing easy. I'm already planning a second quilt with this line.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft and pliable this batik feels right out of the package, draping beautifully without any stiffness. The tiny hand-dyed variations in the Splash of Grenadine pattern give it a lot of depth for patchwork.

The color saturation is stunning in person—that grenadine shade feels almost jewel-toned against the lighter floral prints. I’m already plotting a quilt border around these yardage pieces because the batik texture gives it a hand-dyed richness you can’t get from ordinary cotton.
