Appliqué work is so much easier now that the clear spool lets me see exactly how much thread is left mid-stitch, and the water-soluble feature means no more picking out basting stitches. I just run the piece under the tap and it's gone, which saved me a Sunday afternoon of hand-sewing frustration.

I was so relieved this thread dissolved cleanly after my applique project, just a quick soak and it was gone. The clear spool made it easy to see my stitches on dark fabric.

Used it for basting a silk blouse and the thread disappeared completely after the first wash, no residue at all. Much less fiddly than pins for tricky fabrics.
