The yardage is exactly as pictured—that rich brown base makes the little mechanical critters pop beautifully. The fabric has a nice, sturdy hand feel, which I appreciate for quilting. I’m already plotting how to fussy-cut the clockwork owl panels.

The deep brown background really makes the brass-toned gears and mechanical animals pop. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the fabric feels considering the detailed print. It's going to look amazing in my next quilt project.

The mechanical animal motifs are printed with such crisp detail, they almost look embroidered up close. I wish the yardage came in a wider cut for larger projects, but the weave feel is sturdy and the brown tones are rich.
