The charcoal tone is so rich and moody, it instantly elevated my quilt back. Cut was true to the listed yardage, and the fabric has that lovely, soft hand that's perfect for a modern throw.

I washed a fat quarter to test shrinkage and it came out perfectly soft with no fraying. The charcoal background makes the pattern pop beautifully for a quilt backing.

The weave is surprisingly tight for a quilting cotton, so it held its shape perfectly when I cut the bias binding. The charcoal base makes the classic reprints pop without feeling busy, and it pressed like a dream. This one’s going in my stash for a special project.
