I was worried the fabric would feel stiff for a home decor project, but the batik texture is actually quite supple and drapes beautifully. The detailed wax-resist pattern gives it an artisanal look that elevates simple curtain panels.

I used this batik fabric for a set of throw pillows and the detailed pattern really pops against the steel sapphire background. The fabric has a nice, smooth hand that made it easy to cut and sew. It’s holding up well after a few washes with no fading.

The steel sapphire color is exactly what I was hoping for, and it feels substantial enough for a nice throw pillow cover. I'm already planning what to make with the rest of the yardage.
