I was worried the gingham pattern might look too busy, but the scale is perfectly balanced and the navy reads almost like a solid from a distance. The fabric has a nice, soft hand without feeling flimsy.

The navy base is so much richer in person than on screen, and the floral-print scale hits that perfect vintage vibe without feeling busy. I’ve already cut into it for a quilt backing and the weave held up beautifully through prewashing.
