Echo Braid 42380 14 Black Fabric

Right out of the package, the hand of this fabric is incredibly soft and drapes beautifully—exactly the subtle texture I wanted for a simple quilt top. The black reads as a true, deep charcoal, which is surprisingly hard to find in yardage.

I've been searching for a nice black fabric with subtle texture for a quilt backing, and this one's modern pattern adds just enough visual interest without being busy. The yardage length let me cut exactly what I needed without waste.

The weave is so even and soft to the touch, and the black has a deep matte finish that takes in light beautifully. I've already started cutting into it for a quilt backing and the fabric holds its shape without fraying much. Exactly the calm, understated texture I was hoping for.
