This grey is such a true, soft neutral—it pressed perfectly for my quilt backing. The cotton has a nice, smooth feel that should hold up well through washing.

The fabric has a nice weight to it—not too flimsy for quilting. This smoke grey reads as a true light gray in natural light, which works well as a background for brighter prints. Already cut into my second half-yard for another project.

This grey is exactly the neutral I needed for a quilt backing, and the cotton weave is smooth and even without any thin spots. Washed a swatch and it held its color perfectly, zero shrinkage issues.
