I had to double-check the color when it arrived because the dark grey is so rich and consistent across the entire yard. It pressed out perfectly flat with no twisting, which made cutting for my quilt panels super accurate.

The texture is smooth and tightly woven, so it held up well when I prewashed it for a quilt backing. The dark grey reads almost charcoal in natural light, which is exactly the neutral I needed.

This gray has so much depth in person—darker than a standard charcoal but with subtle texture that makes it feel almost like a soft etching. I used it for a quilt backing and it pressed beautifully without any fraying.
