This batik has such a delicate, detailed print that it almost looks hand-painted, and the texture is noticeably softer than most quilting cottons I've worked with. I'm already planning to use the remaining yardage for a pillowcase.

The yellow is so cheerful and the sunlight pattern really does look sleepy and dreamy when light hits it. Cut it out for a small quilted wall hanging and the batik texture holds its shape beautifully without fraying.
