0935 Tessuto Wedgwood Cherrywood al metro

I used this for dining chair cushions and the hand-dyed color has so much more depth than the flat cottons I've bought before. The suede look is convincing enough that guests keep asking if it's real. Wish it came wider than the standard bolt, but that's my only gripe.

The hand-dyed finish really does read like suede, which I didn't believe until I draped it over the chair. It's still 100% cotton, so it presses beautifully and doesn't slip while I'm sewing. Cut two yards for pillow covers and the color depth is unreal.

I wasn't expecting a cotton fabric to look this much like suede, but the depth of the cherry color is unreal in person. It pressed beautifully for some throw pillows and didn't lose that soft, brushed feel. Already ordering more for a quilt.
