The cream seedlings print has such a soft, subtle texture that it reads almost like linen from a few feet away. Fabric cut cleanly with barely any fraying, and the 58" x 65" size is perfect for the lap quilt I had in mind. Piecing the panels together went faster than I expected.

Cutting into this kit was a little nerve-wracking since the cream seedlings print is so delicate, but the cotton sewed up beautifully with almost no fraying. The panel came out 58" x 65", exactly as listed, and the elk design quilted up crisp.

I've made a few panel quilts before and the cream seedlings print on this one is subtle enough that it doesn't fight the elk design. Cutting was easy since the cotton holds a crisp edge, and the 58" x 65" finished size works well as a lap quilt.
