I was worried the color would look flat in person, but the suede-like finish gives it a soft depth that photos just can't capture. Sewed it into throw pillows and the cotton pressed beautifully without any shine.

The hand-dyed cotton really does read like suede in person, which is exactly what I wanted for reupholstering a small bench. Colors came out richer than the photos suggested, and it sewed up without any fraying at the cut edges.

I was worried the suede look wouldn't survive a wash, but this hand-dyed cotton came out just as soft and rich-toned as when it arrived. The texture is the real surprise, it catches light like actual suede while still being 100% cotton. Made a quilted throw with it and I keep just touching the thing
