Prairie à pois - Au mètre

I’ve been using this fabric for dressmaking, and the way the polka dots fall across the seams makes it so forgiving to cut and match. The cotton has a crisp, smooth hand that holds pleats beautifully. Just wish the dots were a tiny bit larger for my taste, but still love the result.

The dots are so evenly scattered that they read as a soft texture from across the room, which is exactly what I wanted for a simple quilt backing. The fabric feels smooth and has just enough body to drape nicely on a throw pillow too.

The polka dots are perfectly spaced—not too busy, not too sparse—so they read as charming rather than childish. I've already cut into it for a throw pillow and the fabric held its shape beautifully through the needle. It's quickly becoming my go-to for light home projects.
