Batiks teints à la main Elementals Twirl & Swirl Kaléidoscope Yardage

I've been staring at this kaleidoscope yardage for ten minutes just watching the colors shift. The vibrant array really does swirl together differently depending on the light, so every seam in my quilt looks like it's moving. It's going to be impossible to stop cutting into it because I keep finding

The swirl pattern has so much movement that my quilt blocks almost look like they're spinning mid-stitch, and the hand-dyed effect gives each yardage a one-of-a-kind depth you just can't get from regular prints. I've already ordered more to make a matching backing.

The colors are so vibrant in person, way richer than my monitor showed. I love how the swirls and twirls move across the fabric—it's going to make such a fun quilt backing and the hand-dyed texture feels soft and smooth.
