0180 Pétale Cerisier Tissu au mètre

I expected a regular quilting cotton but this has a brushed, almost suede-like finish that feels way richer in person. The hand-dyed color shifts just slightly across the yard, so my tote bag looks less flat than usual. Only thing is it sheds a bit when you first cut it.

The hand-dyed cherrywood color has this soft, almost suede-like depth that makes my curtains look way more expensive than they were. It's 100% cotton so it pressed beautifully, though I did have to be careful not to stretch it while sewing.

I expected cotton, but this stuff really does feel like suede — that brushed, almost velvety hand is wild for a woven. Made curtains for my reading nook and the cherry tones shift depending on the light. Ordered three more yards before they sell out.
