Dry Brush - Daffodil #551 - Yardage

I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely this fabric takes a crease for piecing—the brush stroke pattern adds a beautiful subtle texture without being too busy. It sewed up smoothly on my machine with no skipped stitches or fraying. Just the right weight for a spring quilt backing.

The pale yellow brush strokes sit nicely against the solid background, so the texture reads clearly without being busy. I’ve already got a few yards set aside for a quilt backing, and the color feels softer in person than the photo suggests.

The varying sizes of the dry brush strokes add nice movement, and the daffodil yellow is softer than I expected—pairs beautifully with my home decor. I’ve already ordered more yardage for a second project.
